Palettes
Every GPU component is dithered into a palette: a short list of colours, dark to light. Pick one of the ten, or pass your own.

Your own colours
Pass two to six colours, dark to light, separated by commas. The darkest is the background, the lightest the highlights.

Dither
Between two palette colours the pixels are ordered-dithered with an 8×8 Bayer matrix, which is what gives everything its texture. Turn it down with dither, from 1 (full) to 0 (flat bands).
